Model-Portfolios.biz is a specialised site showing the range of styles that we can offer at Sammy Southall Photography. YES we shoot and create terrific Model Portfolios, but by far the vast majority of work in this field is in our Style & Fashion Makeovers. Many are given as presents and we are happy to make a personalised "Style shoot" voucher if you are looking for a special gift.

We have created makeover shoots and portfolios for all ages from 16 to 60, and even had mini makeover parties for up to 3 girls at a time! The team is made up of myself Sam a qualified professional photographer with over 15 years experience of capturing beautiful images of women, and Bev a former model herself and a fully qualified professional makeup artist and hair stylist - we both love what we do and work very well together.

So what can you expect in a model portfolios makeover and style shoot. Well we have a warm, relaxed and very comfortable and professional studio based at my home in Kidderminster, worcestershire just 20 min's from Junc's 3,4 & 6 of the M5 and very easy to find. You'll be made welcome, we'll get some music on and then choose what clothes will work best for what you are trying to achieve. Next comes the make up - Bev has her own little makeup and styling room and this takes around 45 to 60 min's we'll set you up with a drink and you just relax and be pampered a little. You can just have your makeup done or Bev is very skilled at giving a couple of different styles to your hair. Important thing is don't arrive with too much make up on already ( best to arrive with none at all if you can bear it ) and little or no hair product as Bev can work her magic then.

Next comes the shoot - this is anywhere between 45 min's and 90 minutes according to which package you have chosen and how many clothes changes you have ( and also how quick you are in getting changed ) The music is going - the lights are on the props are in place and we work quickly and professionally to capture the images that are going to make you look "Wow" We take between 100 and 200 images during the shoot. After the shoot you get to relax in our beautiful viewing room when you can see them all and select your favourite's for your folder prints, portfolio or wall. There is absolutely no pressure to buy any extra pictures but of course you can if you wish. Our full price list is on the the prices page and all the prices are inclusive of VAT.

Finally when you have seen all your pictures with an on screen slide show and selected the best ones we can show you various different ways you can have your finished prints, Colour, black and white, sepia, the new Ice Blue. colorize posterised, with infrared effects or hand tinted etc, we also show you how we can retouch you shots for that real super model look. You tell us what you want and your order is usually ready within 7 to 10 days. How easy was that!
