Model-Portfolios.biz is a specialist site showing the range of styles that we offer at Sammy Southall Photography Ltd of Kidderminster. YES we shoot and create terrific Model Portfolios, but by far the vast majority of work in this field is in our Model Style & Fashion Makeovers. Many are given as presents and we are happy to make a personalised " Fashion Style Shoot " gift voucher if you are looking for a special gift. as a treat or indulgence.
We have created fashion style makeover shoots and model portfolios for all ages from 13 to 50, and had mini makeover parties for up to 5 girls at a time! The team is made up of myself Sam a qualified professional photographer with over 25 years experience of capturing beautiful images of women, Jane my partner and Studio Manager who is also a fine photographer and looks after the viewing and selection stage and Bev Beard a former model herself and a fully qualified highly experienced professional makeup artist and hair stylist - we all love what we do and work very well together.
So what can you expect in a Model Portfolios makeover and fashion style shoot. After a warm welcome to our relaxed and very comfortable and professional studio based at our home in Kidderminster, Worcestershire just 20 min's from Junc's 3,4 & 6 of the M5 and easy to find we'll get you a drink get some music on and then consult with you about your clothes, the style and look you are trying to achieve with your shoot.
Next comes the make up - Bev has her own special makeup and styling room and this takes around 45 to 60 minutes you just relax and be pampered while Bev creates the look you are after. You can just have your makeup done but Bev is very skilled at creating a great style for your hair as well. Important thing is don't arrive with too much make up on already ( best to arrive with none at all if you can bear it ) and no hair product in your hair and let Bev work her magic on you.
Next comes the actual shoot - this is anywhere between 45 min's and 90 minutes according to which model makeover package you have chosen and how many clothes changes you have ( also how quick you are in getting changed! ) The music is going - the lights are on the props are in place and we work quickly and professionally to capture the images that are going to make you look "Wow" We can take between 100 and 200 images during the shoot. After the shoot you get to relax in our beautiful viewing room with twin 32" BIG Screen monitors when you can see them all and select your favourite's for your folder prints, portfolio or wall. There is absolutely no pressure to buy any extra pictures but of course you can if you wish. Our full price list is on the the prices page and all the prices are inclusive of VAT.
Finally when you have seen all your pictures with an on screen slide show and selected the best ones we can show you various different ways you can have your finished prints, Colour, black and white, sepia, the new Ice Blue. colorize posterised, with infrared effects or hand tinted etc, we also show you how we can retouch and airbrush your shots for that real super model look. You tell us what you want and your order is usually ready within 2 to 3 weeks. How easy and lovely is that!
